Sensory Nooks are personal mobile sensory support pods designed by sensory specialists AmbiSpace Ltd & Nook Wellness Pods. These pods provide an affordable way to help individuals with special needs and disabilities manage sensory overload in everyday public spaces.
Sensory Nooks create a controllable environment where neurodiverse individuals can regulate themselves, enhancing their ability to function. Public places often cause sensory overload, anxiety, and, in some cases, meltdowns for those with special needs. Sensory Nooks offer a safe space that avoids isolation and reduces challenging behaviour.
